Builds priority back-end and full-stack enhancements for UN-Habitat’s GEMS and MIND platforms, strengthening registration privacy, access security, event workflows, reporting and integrations so high-priority functionality can be delivered in parallel within a three-month assignment.

Responsibilities
- Build consent, amendment and self-service data-management workflows into online registration
- Implement operator authentication, time-boxed access, network restrictions and suspicious-access alerts
- Add AI-assisted photo and background quality checks and multilingual accessible registration forms
- Develop demographic and attendance reports and restricted reporting views
- Fix event slotting, date filters and participant-organisation data-quality issues
- Build legislative event workflows, media accreditation and expo application modules
- Create exports, combined PDF outputs and website integrations for Urban October events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, management information systems, information technology, engineering or a related field
- At least two years of professional full-stack web-development experience
- Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and a relational database
- Working experience with Git version control
- Fluency in spoken and written English
