Overview
Support IMF macroeconomic forecasting tools through rigorous data and model management. The analyst will maintain databases and pipelines, establish governance and lineage standards, help country economists migrate and link models, test and improve internal software, and coordinate technical requirements with IT teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage databases and pipelines supporting macroeconomic forecasting models
- Apply data-quality, governance, metadata, lineage and version-control standards
- Help economists maintain models and migrate databases to new software
- Transfer and link models developed in Matlab, Dynare or Python environments
- Test internal tools, support debugging and coordinate requirements with IT teams
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in data management, programming or systems, computer science, statistics, finance, mathematics, economics or related field
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience with relational databases, data governance and data quality assurance
- Knowledge of Python, R or Matlab and familiarity with SQL
- Strong spoken and written English
