Information Systems Officer

Leads development and rollout of UNOV and UNODC’s enterprise asset-tracking and inventory system using Microsoft Power Platform. The role owns solution architecture, deployment controls, technical coordination, stakeholder governance and data-driven reporting.

Department: Business and Administrative Solutions Team

• Lead development and rollout of the UNOV and UNODC asset-tracking and inventory system
• Develop the project plan and coordinate deployments with technical teams and client focal points
• Design Power Platform solution architecture, security, interfaces and interconnected modules
• Configure system environments, deployment processes and operational controls
• Guide developers and create reusable Power Platform component libraries
• Maintain stakeholder governance and resolve technical or delivery issues
• Analyse operational data and present decision-support insights through reports and visualisations

• Advanced university degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related field, or a relevant bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience delivering and supporting enterprise applications for finance, human resources, procurement, asset management or related processes
• Experience designing and implementing an enterprise asset-tracking or inventory solution with Microsoft Power Platform
• At least two years designing, developing, administering or managing enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• At least two years integrating Microsoft Power Platform with enterprise systems such as SAP, Active Directory, human resources systems, Microsoft 365 or monitoring tools
• English at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking

• Temporary appointment for ten months
