Develops priority enhancements for UN-Habitat’s GEMS and MIND platforms, strengthening registration privacy, access controls, event workflows, reporting, accessibility and website integrations so high-priority features can be delivered securely within a three-month consultancy.

Responsibilities
- Build consent, data-deletion, retention and account-reactivation workflows for event registration
- Implement operator authentication, network restrictions, access alerts and activity reporting for on-site stations
- Add photo-quality checks, accessibility questions and multilingual registration forms
- Develop demographic and attendance reports with host-country access controls
- Correct registration, event-slotting and date-filter data issues
- Create and align legislative-event, media-accreditation and exhibition workflows
- Automate event-report activation, document exports and approved-image publication
- Integrate GEMS event data with Urban October and related websites
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum two years of professional full-stack web-development experience
- Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and a relational database such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server
- Working experience with Git version control
- Fluency in spoken and written English
