Supports the GEF Small Grants Programme in Cabo Verde through grant administration, financial controls, office operations, stakeholder coordination, knowledge management and results monitoring, helping community projects deliver accountable environmental and development outcomes.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support project proposal screening, grant preparation and programme implementation
- Advise grantees on project processes and provide ongoing implementation guidance
- Review financial reports and process payments in line with programme procedures
- Maintain programme budgets, grant disbursement schedules and accounting records
- Organize office administration, filing, procurement, travel and event logistics
- Maintain relationships and reporting flows with programme stakeholders
- Support knowledge products, advocacy events and programme visibility
- Maintain monitoring systems and report progress against project targets
Role Requirements
- Secondary education, or a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, environmental science, social science or a related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible administrative or programme experience with secondary education, or two years with a bachelor's degree
- Experience reviewing and editing documents and producing meeting reports with key actions
Desired Criteria
- Certificate in business administration, accounting or finance
