Job Description
Leads delivery of Trade for Jobs Uganda, a market-systems initiative that uses dairy and tourism trade to create decent employment and income opportunities. The role directs programme implementation, policy and research work, stakeholder engagement, field missions, training and budget coordination while ensuring evidence-based adaptation and effective project oversight.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Trade for Jobs Uganda activities
- Plan workshops and support clients to develop change-management action plans
- Research, analyse and present information from diverse sources
- Coordinate policy analysis, evaluations and research studies
- Design data-collection tools and interpret survey findings
- Prepare background papers, reports, studies and publication inputs
- Organise meetings, training workshops and presentations
- Coordinate project budgets, funding reports and financial documentation
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business administration, management, economics or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or a related area
- Experience in partnership building
- Experience in trade-related technical assistance in developing countries
- English proficiency
