Job Description

Lead information-management work for IOM's Guyana Country Office, coordinating data collection, analysis, reporting and dissemination for migration and humanitarian decision-making. The role supervises workflows and field teams, assures the quality of datasets and information products, and works with authorities, UN agencies and partners to deliver timely, operationally useful evidence.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate information-management activities, including assessments, mobility tracking, registration support and data collection
  • Develop and supervise data collection tools, reporting templates, databases, procedures and workflows
  • Guide field teams and enumerators on data collection, management, analysis, visualization and reporting
  • Assure the accuracy and methodological quality of datasets, dashboards, maps and written information products
  • Coordinate information flows with authorities, humanitarian partners and IOM teams for validation and dissemination

Role Requirements

  • Be a Guyanese national or a foreign national legally authorized to work in Guyana with valid residence and work permits
  • Fluency in English, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Working knowledge of Spanish, French or another UN official language is an advantage
