Job Description
Manages programme information for IOM's emergency, reconstruction and disaster-readiness operations in Chuuk. The officer maintains data systems and information flows, supports registration and geographic coverage analysis, produces performance reports and visual products, trains staff in data management, and works with government, donors and programme teams to improve evidence for response planning and monitoring.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain programme data-management tools, databases and applications for reconstruction, readiness and relief work
- Collect, consolidate, analyse and distribute field information while maintaining secure programme records
- Train programme staff in data entry and use of data-management tools
- Conduct registration activities and update maps and matrices on programme coverage
- Produce periodic project reports on targets, performance and monitoring results
- Respond to information requests from government, donors and other stakeholders
- Develop data visualisations, dashboards, maps, statistics and information materials
- Review information systems and technologies for disaster and emergency operations and conduct field visits to verify programme information
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Management, Geographic Information Systems, Archival Studies, Information Science, Information Systems, Social Science or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a university degree in those fields with four years of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in English

- Experience working with IOM or USG-funded projects
- Experience in the Pacific region

Additional Information
- Fixed-term appointment of one year with possibility of extension
- Regular travel outside the duty station to project areas is required
- Open only to current and former IOM staff separated within the last 12 months through the structural adjustment process
- Appointment is subject to funding confirmation and medical, security, accreditation, residency or visa clearances
