Job Description
OCHA seeks an Information Management Associate to support humanitarian-response data collection, analysis and dissemination in Maracaibo. The temporary role develops information products, mapping and visualisation, coordinates data with partners and supports assessments, reporting for the Venezuela response.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and disseminate response data with OCHA actors and partners
- Use GIS or business-intelligence tools to improve analysis and decision-making
- Maintain information-sharing platforms, databases and monitoring tools
- Create databases, maps and infographics for humanitarian response
- Coordinate data collection with UN agencies, NGOs and international organisations
Role Requirements
- Secondary education with 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in information management, information systems, GIS, mapping or data visualisation
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in Spanish
Desired Criteria
- High-level qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Experience liaising with donors, UN agencies, NGOs, authorities, local partners and affected communities
