Job Description

Advises AIIB’s CIO on digital strategy, organisational effectiveness and long-term capability development. The senior specialist leads enterprise planning, engages business leaders, strengthens governance and delivery methods, and converts portfolio, process and technology analysis into roadmaps and recommendations that improve the Bank’s digital business value.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support the CIO in developing and executing the Bank’s digital and AI strategy
  • Lead long-term IT strategic and capability planning across business domains
  • Engage business-unit management to translate priorities and operating models into digital roadmaps
  • Lead enterprise business-process reviews and promote standardised, optimised processes before technology implementation
  • Develop governance frameworks, standards, templates and playbooks for consistent IT delivery
  • Measure business-value realisation across the digital portfolio and recommend improvements to the CIO

Role Requirements

  • At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in digital strategy, IT strategy, enterprise architecture, business architecture, management consulting, organisational effectiveness or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, organisational development or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated strategic advisory or consulting experience with senior management on enterprise technology strategy, operating models, business capability development and portfolio performance
  • Proven ability to translate institutional and business priorities into integrated technology roadmaps and measurable outcomes
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Master’s degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, organisational development or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, PMI, PRINCE2 or Managing Successful Programmes
  • Relevant professional certifications in enterprise architecture, product management, portfolio or programme management, Agile, IT governance, service management, process improvement or change management
  • Experience in international financial institutions or multilateral development banks
