Summary of Responsibilities
- Review programme documents, technical data and energy policies to develop funding narratives and logical frameworks
- Synthesize technical information into competitive proposals with ETP subject-matter experts
- Articulate energy-transition concepts, financial needs and climate impacts for donors
- Ground project design in ETP’s Theory of Change and results-based monitoring framework
- Tailor proposals to donor templates, evaluation criteria and funding priorities
- Identify funding-pipeline opportunities with the programme team
- Coordinate interviews and iterative feedback with internal experts
- Provide technical writing, editing and proposal-support services as requested
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, energy policy, sustainable development, renewable energy engineering, economics or a related technical field with four years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree in a listed discipline with two years of relevant experience
- Experience in technical proposal writing, grant writing, project design or a similar business-development role
- Demonstrated expertise in climate change, modern energy systems or energy transition
- Good knowledge of Google-suite applications
- Fluent English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UN, EU or philanthropic donor funding guidelines and logical frameworks
- Strong research, technical-data synthesis and analytical skills
