Job Description
Supports UNODC's Maritime Security Team in Djibouti to deliver activities addressing maritime crime and criminal justice. The role combines programme coordination, technical research, capacity-building support and administrative follow-up, helping national counterparts and regional partners implement effective maritime law-enforcement and justice initiatives.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support programme activities on maritime crime and criminal justice
- Research technical-assistance needs and capacity-building strategies for maritime law enforcement
- Prepare project, budget and work-plan documentation
- Contribute to policy coordination, evaluation and analysis of emerging issues
- Engage national counterparts to implement capacity-building activities
- Monitor Maritime Security Team activities and compile information for UNODC management
- Prepare background papers, briefing notes, reports and analytical outputs
- Support meetings, procurements, contracts, payments and field missions
Role Requirements
- Professional experience in management, logistics, operations, government or relevant programmes
- Fluency in English and French, orally and in writing
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with government institutions
- Experience in maritime crime
- Experience in post-conflict environments or least developed countries
