Programme Support Associate: Health and Development

UNODC seeks a national UN Volunteer in South Africa to coordinate health and development activities and UNSDCF Results Group work, research public-health issues, track programme results, maintain knowledge products and support stakeholder meetings, reporting and operations.

Department: Health and Development Programme

• Coordinate health and development programme activities and workplans
• Support UNSDCF Results Group meetings and inter-agency follow-up
• Research health, HIV, tuberculosis and substance-use issues
• Maintain activity trackers and compile performance data
• Prepare programme, donor and Results Group reporting inputs
• Support stakeholder meetings, communications and programme administration

• Diploma or higher qualification in public health, social sciences, development studies, psychology or a closely related field
• Demonstrated interest or experience in public health, health promotion or community-health programmes
• Research, data collection and report-writing skills
• Fluent English

• Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance of R7,500 is provided
