Overview

Facilitates the Kenya scoping phase of the Nature for Health initiative, building a shared systems view of One Health and upstream prevention. The consultant convenes stakeholders, designs participatory workshops, strengthens partnerships, and helps turn the co-created findings into an implementation project document.

Responsibilities

  • Build a shared understanding of Nature for Health objectives and systems-thinking methods
  • Facilitate bilateral discussions and focus groups with Kenyan One Health stakeholders
  • Co-design and lead at least three participatory scoping workshops
  • Strengthen the Kenya Nature for Health partnership and agree stakeholder roles
  • Document workshop feedback and learning for the implementation phase
  • Contribute to the implementation project document and related terms of reference

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in social, ecological, behavioural or management sciences, or a first degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Seven years of postgraduate experience in knowledge management, organizational learning and partnership facilitation
  • Demonstrated facilitation experience using systems-thinking tools in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Experience developing project documents and actionable sustainable-development plans
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
