Leads maritime command-and-control data integration projects that combine information from multiple platforms to improve operational decision-making at HQ MARCOM. The role delivers a data-integration centre of excellence and project-management community of practice, helping leaders identify capabilities, prioritise opportunities and strengthen governance, architecture and continuous improvement.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Deliver data-integration projects that improve operational decision making across multiple platforms
- Lead the strengthening of MARCOM project-management and data-governance practices
- Create a centre of excellence for data integration and a community of practice for project-management and data-science professionals
- Define technical capabilities and enable MARCOM leaders to use project-management and data-science capabilities effectively
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to strengthen command and control through improved data integration
- Develop policies, procedures, guidelines and ways of working that improve data-integration maturity
Role Requirements
- At least 5 years of successful business-change project delivery
- Degree in a relevant field such as Business or Computer Science plus 4 years of related experience
- Or higher secondary education with advanced vocational training and a professional qualification or accreditation plus 5 years of related and 2 years of functional experience
- Experience delivering data-integration projects using AI or machine-learning tools
- Experience using mathematical and statistical models to solve business problems
- Experience applying data-science, analytics and data-integration tools or programming languages to real-world datasets
Desired Criteria
- Industry-recognised project-management qualification or accreditation
- Experience with data-visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Spotfire or Tableau
- Experience briefing analytical products to non-technical staff
- Experience with big-data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Spark or MapReduce
- Experience working in NATO or a similar multinational defence or security sector
