Job Description
Supports the UN Resident Coordinator Office in Luanda with data systems, analytics and monitoring for the Cooperation Framework. The specialist consolidates agency inputs, tracks indicators and milestones, develops dashboards and analytical products, and helps UN entities and national partners turn data into evidence for planning, learning and adaptive management of development results.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Implement databases, data-collection systems and analytics strategies that improve statistical efficiency and quality
- Analyse data trends and patterns using statistical methods and structured information sources
- Acquire, clean and maintain data from primary and secondary sources and improve analytics processes
- Develop monitoring, evaluation and learning products for Cooperation Frameworks
- Contribute to dashboards and digital tools tracking national SDG indicators and interoperability
- Prepare reports, dashboards and data-visualisation outputs for management decision-making
- Support outcome analysis, contribution studies and integrated analysis of indicators and evidence
- Train staff and government partners on data analytics, results-based management and evaluation techniques
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, applied mathematics, information management, data management, information systems, information science, economic or social sciences or a related field; a first-level degree may be accepted with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Project-management skills
- Experience developing and executing training programmes and curricula for different levels and target audiences
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Open to nationals of Angola only
