Job Description
Supports IOM's Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration programme across designated Italian regions by connecting migrants, local authorities, NGOs and reception services with return information and counselling. The role delivers outreach sessions, helps beneficiaries complete applications, maintains case documentation and promotes AVRR materials and referral pathways with local stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain contacts with municipalities, NGOs, reception centres and diaspora groups to disseminate AVRR information
- Organize and deliver AVRR information sessions and awareness activities for stakeholders and migrant communities
- Provide tailored AVRR counselling to third-country nationals considering voluntary return
- Disseminate AVRR materials and promote the AVRR toll-free number with the Project Coordinator
- Help beneficiaries complete AVRR application forms and send complete case files to the IOM AVRR team
- Maintain beneficiary documentation in line with established procedures
- Undertake duty travel as required
Role Requirements
- High school diploma with three years of relevant experience, or university degree in listed related disciplines with at least one year of relevant experience
- Driving licence
- Fluency in Italian and English, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with NGOs, social services, reception centres, municipalities or migrant communities
- Previous experience as a social worker, cultural mediator or community outreach worker
- Previous AVRR counselling experience

- Successful candidates may be deployed to Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria, Campania, Lazio, Sicily, Calabria, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Apulia or Veneto
