Job Description
Supports IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix operations by coordinating country and regional support, strengthening methodologies and leading Data for Solutions initiatives. The role links data collection, analysis, reporting and programme design with governments and inter-agency partners, while supporting field deployments, standards, resource mobilisation and solutions to internal displacement.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical backstopping and operational guidance to country missions supporting global DTM operations
- Coordinate Regional Data Hubs and country teams to align DTM implementation with global priorities
- Lead Data for Solutions coordination and support the annual report on internal displacement solutions
- Support country data collection, displacement profiles and implementation of DSID recommendations
- Develop and roll out DTM methodologies, tools and standards aligned with inter-agency guidance
- Support surge and field-deployment mechanisms in emergency and protracted contexts
- Engage governments, IOM units and inter-agency platforms to strengthen uptake of DTM data
- Develop proposals, concept notes and strategic funding initiatives for DTM priorities
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in political or social sciences, international relations, statistics, data science, information management or a related field with five years of experience, or university degree with seven years
- At least five years of experience in humanitarian operations, data or information management, coordination or related areas
- Fluent oral and written English
- Availability for field missions and deployments in emergency and protracted contexts
