Job Description
Supports the Office for Disarmament Affairs in New York with programme and project delivery, grant operations and policy coordination. The officer will review project documents, monitor implementation and budgets, conduct research and data analysis, support meetings and regional visits, prepare written outputs, and translate programme evidence into informed management decisions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review project documents and donor or implementing-partner agreements
- Monitor programme implementation and identify corrective actions
- Conduct research, surveys and data analysis
- Prepare background papers, reports and meeting inputs
- Coordinate programme budgets, funding and financial reports
- Support regional visits to monitor project results
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business administration, management, economics or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of experience
- At least 5 years of programme or project management experience
- At least 2 years managing government-funded grants
- At least 2 years using UMOJA or similar ERP platforms
- At least 2 years of data analytics and reporting experience
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Data analytics, business analytics or data science study
- Experience at United Nations Headquarters or a similar international organisation
