Job Description
The UN Youth Office seeks a New York-based contractor to manage delivery of the inaugural UN Youth Townhall and advance meaningful youth engagement in technology, innovation and digital cooperation. The role coordinates workstreams and partners, creates plans and impact frameworks, prepares policy and briefing materials, and supports youth participation in multilateral technology processes through December 2026.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage planning and implementation of the UN Youth Townhall
- Coordinate Townhall workstreams, UN entities and external partners
- Develop project plans, timelines, tracking tools and impact frameworks
- Prepare concept notes, agendas, briefings and meeting materials
- Support youth engagement in technology, innovation and digital-cooperation policy processes
- Develop policy analysis and substantive inputs on emerging technologies
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international relations, public policy, political science, public administration, development studies, innovation, technology policy or a related field
- First-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted
- At least two years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, policy, international development or related fields
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Experience supporting multilateral processes, stakeholder engagement or intergovernmental coordination
- Experience coordinating complex multi-stakeholder initiatives or international events
- Experience in youth policy, technology, innovation, artificial intelligence or digital cooperation
- Experience developing monitoring, evaluation or results-tracking frameworks
- Proficiency in other UN languages
