Job Description
UNFPA Kenya seeks a Programme Associate in Nairobi to support the GBV and Gender portfolio. The associate will plan, implement and monitor programmes, analyse data, prepare reports and communications, coordinate travel and events, support budgets and financial monitoring, maintain partner agreements and records, ensure compliance, assist audits and strengthen partner programme-management capacity.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support formulation and implementation of country-programme activities
- Collect and analyse portfolio data for programme decisions
- Prepare reports, presentations and communications
- Provide logistical support for travel, events and procurement requests
- Prepare and monitor programme budgets and financial authorizations
- Support audits and respond to audit queries
- Maintain implementing-partner agreements, disbursement and liquidation records
- Coordinate partner documentation and capacity-building support
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, social sciences or a related field
- At least 6 years of programme or project-management experience
- Relevant administration, finance and project-management experience
- Proficiency in office software, web-based management and ERP systems
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- UNFPA-system and inter-UN-coordination experience
