Builds strategic private-sector partnerships for the UNDP Rome Centre’s climate, energy and innovation portfolio. The role combines market intelligence, procurement advisory, partner due diligence, resource mobilisation and results reporting to turn programme priorities into scalable collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the Rome Centre’s private-sector engagement strategy
  • Identify and structure partnerships supporting climate, energy and development priorities
  • Conduct market intelligence, partner due diligence and supplier-performance analysis
  • Plan partner events, briefings and business-engagement workshops
  • Track partnership milestones, procurement records and donor reporting
  • Train private-sector partners on UNDP procurement and partnership procedures

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in international development, public policy, business, economics, political science, engineering or a related field, or bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least five years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or seven years with a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in international development, private-sector engagement and strategic procurement
  • Experience managing private-sector partnerships and conducting due diligence
  • Experience delivering procurement training to external partners
  • Fluency in English
