Senior Private Sector Development Specialist

Lead ADB’s private-sector development agenda from its India Resident Mission, shaping country strategies, originating public-private partnership and investment pipelines, advising policy reforms, coordinating sovereign and non-sovereign operations, cultivating clients and supervising specialist teams.

Department: South Asia Department

• Lead private-sector inputs to country strategies and roadmaps
• Originate PPP, investment and transaction-advisory opportunities
• Conduct policy dialogue on investment climate and enabling reforms
• Review sovereign and non-sovereign proposals for private-sector impact
• Lead technical assistance and pipeline management
• Build relationships with governments, investors and financial institutions
• Produce knowledge products on markets, finance and partnerships
• Lead task teams and supervise junior staff

• Master's degree or equivalent, or university degree with additional specialised experience
• At least 10 years of private-sector development, PPP, infrastructure advisory or commercial-finance experience
• Diversified international experience in development institutions and private-sector organisations
• Nationality of an ADB member country

• Fixed-term appointment initially assigned to India for three years
• Relocation after the initial assignment may be required
