Leads ADB’s strategic partnership management with non-regional member shareholders and other key partners. The specialist develops policy and financing partnership approaches, supports senior consultations and global forums, prepares high-level briefing products, identifies new cooperation opportunities, and manages junior staff to strengthen resource mobilisation and knowledge partnerships.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop partnership strategy and policies
  • Build relationships with shareholder capitals and ministries
  • Prepare senior-management consultations and briefing materials
  • Identify new financing and cooperation partnerships
  • Represent ADB in global partnership forums
  • Manage junior team members and support their development

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in international development, public or government relations, economics or related field, or university degree with at least five years of specialised experience
  • At least 12 years of senior experience in strategic relationship management and public or government relations
  • Experience writing briefing materials for high-level officials
  • Written and verbal English proficiency

Desired Criteria

  • Experience in an international development institution
  • Experience implementing development programmes in Asia and the Pacific

Skills to Have

Additional info

  • Relocation to Manila is required
