Job Description
Supports the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Tunisia to build partnerships and financing solutions for Sustainable Development Goals. The officer coordinates resource mobilisation and pooled-fund management, advises the UN Country Team on strategy, and turns financial and programme information into stronger governance and partner relationships.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise on financing-for-development options and partnership opportunities
- Prepare financing-gap analyses, briefing papers and partnership strategies
- Promote blended and innovative financing solutions
- Engage government, private-sector, civil-society and development-finance partners
- Support resource mobilisation and analyse funding streams
- Coordinate operational and fiduciary management of the Multi-Partner Trust Fund
- Organise trust-fund governance meetings and follow up commitments
- Consolidate financial, results and programme reporting for strategic decisions
- Lead implementation of the UN Partnership Strategy
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business or public administration, sustainable development, finance or a related area
- A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree
- At least five years of experience in strategic support to financial partnerships, social corporate responsibility, financing for development or resource mobilisation
- At least five years developing strategic partnerships across government, private sector and civil society including financing for development
- At least five years of successful large-scale resource-mobilisation strategies
- Experience preparing project or programme proposals
- English, French and Arabic at UN Level III
- Be a national of Tunisia
Desired Criteria
- Data analytics, business analytics or data science programmes are an advantage
- Applied partnerships in food systems, digital transformation, jobs, social protection, energy, climate action or public-private partnerships are desirable
- Experience with innovative financing mechanisms, financing strategies and fund management is desirable

Additional Information
- Fixed-term appointment for an initial period of one year, subject to funds, budget approval or mandate extension
- Nationals of Tunisia residing elsewhere may be considered if no suitable local candidate is identified
