Job Description

Supports UN Women and Ukrainian government partners to strengthen coordination for inclusive, gender-responsive recovery. The consultant services the Gender Equality working group and recovery platform, provides policy analysis and planning advice, organises consultations and training, prepares action plans and reports, and tracks results and evidence for EU accession and recovery priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support the secretariats of the Gender Equality working group and recovery platform
  • Coordinate communication with government, parliament, civil society and development partners
  • Draft analytical materials, policy papers and presentations
  • Develop action plans for coordination mechanisms
  • Monitor results, lessons learned and best practices
  • Organise meetings, public discussions and multistakeholder consultations
  • Support capacity-development activities on inclusion and gender equality

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in law, public policy and administration, international relations, gender studies, social and humanitarian sciences or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in human rights, gender equality, governance or public administration
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian
