Job Description
Strengthens monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting for United Nations engagement in Afghanistan. The role maintains results frameworks and data governance, coordinates inter-agency reporting and evaluations, and turns verified programme, financing and performance data into dashboards, analytical products that inform strategic planning, accountability and humanitarian-development decisions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate inter-agency monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting efforts
- Maintain risk-informed monitoring and reporting systems for the UNSFA and joint work plans
- Develop results frameworks, indicators, baselines and targets and coordinate updates in UN INFO
- Collect, validate and analyse programme, results, financing and geographic-coverage data
- Develop dashboards, maps, infographics and analytical products with verified UN and partner data
- Support independent evaluations, reviews and evaluability assessments of collective frameworks
- Advance common data standards, metadata, interoperability and data-sharing protocols
- Develop reporting guidance, quality-assurance tools and M&E capacity-development activities
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in monitoring and evaluation, statistics, economics, social sciences, public policy, development studies, data science or a related field
- First-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted instead
- At least five years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, data collection and analysis, strategic planning or reporting
- Experience developing results frameworks, indicators, M&E systems and reporting or data-visualisation tools
- Fluent English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UN INFO or comparable results-reporting platforms
- Experience in humanitarian, fragile or conflict-affected settings
- Familiarity with the humanitarian-development-peace nexus and strategic foresight
