Job Description
Provides a supervised learning placement in UNICEF's Supply and Logistics Unit, supporting donation-approval documentation and transaction tracking. The intern processes submissions across UN 2720 and COGAT systems, follows up missing information and reports on approvals. The assignment builds practical logistics, data-management and partner-coordination experience in a high-volume operational setting.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review documentation for donation-approval requests in the UN 2720 system
- Create and follow up submissions in UN 2720 and COGAT Mercury
- Monitor submissions and resolve missing documentation or queries
- Create required Ministry of Environment database submissions
- Update supply and logistics transaction records and support KPI monitoring
- Share approval QR codes for pre-clearance processing
- Prepare reports on approved, pending and rejected submissions
- Provide operational back-up to logistics team members during peak workloads
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in an undergraduate or advanced university degree in supply management, contracting, logistics, administration or a related field
- Excellent academic performance
- No immediate relative working in a UNICEF office or other relative in the intern's reporting line
- Ability to organise high-volume transaction documentation
- Ability to operate computerised request and approval systems
- Excellent oral and written English
