Local Consultant

The Local Consultant adapts and delivers financial-inclusion training for displacement-affected households in Armenia. The assignment develops participatory curricula and learning tools, conducts twelve community sessions, supports household financial action plans, evaluates learning, documents feedback and lessons, and submits a final training package and report with recommendations.

• Review and adapt financial-literacy, inclusion and budgeting materials
• Develop practical exercises, case studies, templates and household planning tools
• Ensure materials are gender-sensitive, conflict-sensitive and aligned with IOM protection principles
• Deliver twelve one-day training sessions in selected communities
• Facilitate participatory adult-learning sessions on budgeting, saving, borrowing and financial services
• Support participants to develop individual or household financial action plans
• Develop knowledge tests, collect feedback and evaluate learning outcomes
• Produce final training materials, handouts, facilitation guides and a final training report

• Completed university degree in finance, economics, business administration, financial education, social sciences, adult education or another relevant field
• Minimum three years of professional experience in financial literacy, financial inclusion, household finance, consumer financial education or related fields
• Fluency in Armenian and working knowledge of English

• Experience with vulnerable populations, refugees, displaced persons or livelihood programmes
• Working knowledge of Russian
