Legal Adviser 1

Advises the Abuja delegation on implementing international humanitarian law in Nigeria. The role develops legal strategies, supports national authorities and academic partners, and strengthens treaty participation, domestic legal frameworks and dissemination of humanitarian law among specialist audiences.

• Advise on national implementation of humanitarian law
• Monitor legal and policy developments
• Build relations with authorities and academics
• Provide legal advice and technical assistance
• Organize IHL workshops and lectures

• University degree in Law
• Excellent command of English
• Valid authorization to work in Nigeria

• Master’s degree in public international law or related fields
• Internship or traineeship experience
