Responsibilities
- Research assigned legal topics and compare national and regional legislation and practice
- Draft working documents, guides, legal opinions and other materials for WIPO bodies
- Support training, awareness-raising activities, seminars and workshops on patent law and technology
- Serve on technical-committee secretariats and draft summary records
- Participate in meetings with Member States, intergovernmental bodies and NGOs
- Respond to correspondence and advise on patent, utility-model, trade-secret and layout-design questions
Requirements
- First-level university degree in law
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in intellectual property law and public or private-sector practice
- Excellent knowledge of English
