Responsibilities

  • Research assigned legal topics and compare national and regional legislation and practice
  • Draft working documents, guides, legal opinions and other materials for WIPO bodies
  • Support training, awareness-raising activities, seminars and workshops on patent law and technology
  • Serve on technical-committee secretariats and draft summary records
  • Participate in meetings with Member States, intergovernmental bodies and NGOs
  • Respond to correspondence and advise on patent, utility-model, trade-secret and layout-design questions

Requirements

  • First-level university degree in law
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in intellectual property law and public or private-sector practice
  • Excellent knowledge of English
