Responsibilities

  • Research business and human rights and responsible business priorities in India
  • Prepare actionable notes on sustainability and responsible consumption for programme design and stakeholder engagement
  • Draft and quality assure concept notes, proposals, briefs and other project documentation
  • Identify intervention areas for ethical AI adoption in justice delivery and legal-awareness outreach
  • Support responsible consumption programming and youth stakeholder mobilisation
  • Contribute to policy briefs, speeches, talking points and background materials
  • Document best practices and stories on responsible business and access to justice
  • Support networks with industry associations and private-sector engagement on human rights due diligence

Requirements

  • At least one year of professional work experience in rule of law, access to justice, human rights, responsible business or another relevant programme
  • Sound understanding of rule of law, access to justice and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
  • Excellent oral and written drafting, formulation and reporting skills
  • Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing
  • Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, email and internet
  • English is required
