INVESTIGATOR, P4

Leads OIOS investigations into fraud, corruption, misconduct and abuse, defining investigative plans, supervising teams, interviewing witnesses and subjects, gathering and analysing evidence, preparing tribunal testimony and reports, recommending corrective or disciplinary action and using data to identify oversight trends.

• Plan and manage investigations into misconduct, fraud, corruption and abuse
• Lead investigator teams and define investigative scope, methods and timetables
• Interview witnesses and subjects and gather documentary and electronic evidence
• Determine findings and recommend corrective, disciplinary or jurisdictional action
• Prepare investigation reports, tribunal testimony and data-driven trend analysis

• Advanced university degree in law or a relevant field, or first degree with two additional years of experience
• At least seven years of progressively responsible investigations experience including supervision
• Experience interviewing subjects and witnesses in investigations
• International investigations experience in an international or multilateral public institution
• Fluency in English

• Initial appointment period is one year
• Successful candidates may be placed on a roster for similar roles
