Overview
Provides senior technical and programme support to strengthen sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn and adolescent health services across Fiji, Tonga and Vanuatu, advancing surveillance, clinical capacity, integrated GBV and HIV prevention, monitoring and donor reporting.

Responsibilities
- Support rollout and institutionalisation of maternal and perinatal death surveillance systems
- Build healthcare-provider capacity in emergency obstetric and neonatal care and gender-based violence response
- Coordinate HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health interventions in Fiji
- Coordinate implementing partners, government departments and experts against workplans
- Oversee essential health and gender-based violence supplies and establish youth-friendly health spaces
- Support coordination meetings, community outreach and public information events
- Monitor programme delivery through field visits, performance indicators and evaluation missions
- Prepare six-monthly and annual donor reports and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Master’s degree in public health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, sociology, anthropology, health economics, health systems or a related discipline
- At least five years of progressively responsible public-health, programme-management and development experience relevant to sexual and reproductive health and rights
- Experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal and perinatal death surveillance, and maternal and newborn health including emergency obstetric and neonatal care
- Experience developing and delivering health training modules to government, NGO and community participants
- Track record of technical expertise and demonstrable results
- Fluency in English
