Individual Consultant - SRHR, MNH and FP Integration into the GC8 Funding Request

Lead the integration of maternal health, midwifery, sexual and reproductive health, family planning and gender-based violence priorities into Sierra Leone’s Global Fund Cycle 8 request. The consultancy aligns evidence, stakeholder consensus, costed interventions and resilient health-system components.

• Review national health strategies, Global Fund performance data and GC8 guidance
• Map service-integration gaps across primary healthcare and community delivery points
• Facilitate national and subnational consultations with government, civil society and development partners
• Build consensus on cost-effective integrated maternal health and SRHR interventions
• Draft integrated narratives and modules for the GC8 funding request
• Embed human-rights, gender-transformative and community-led health-system components
• Coordinate costing, budgets and performance indicators with health economics experts
• Finalise validated funding materials and report lessons and implementation recommendations

• Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, epidemiology, global health policy or a closely related social science field
• At least seven years of progressive experience managing or advising public health programmes focused on maternal health or sexual and reproductive health and rights
• Experience drafting successful Global Fund funding requests or managing Global Fund-supported programmes
• Experience working with the United Nations, a Ministry of Health, NGOs or development partners
• Familiarity with Global Fund Cycle 7 and Cycle 8 Modular Frameworks
• Fluency in written and spoken English

• The assignment comprises 30 working days
• Payments are output-based against four approved milestones
• Official in-country travel may be required
• The consultant provides their own equipment and workspace
