Job Description
Supports the Chinese Unit of the UN Web Services Section by researching and adapting content for Chinese-language digital platforms. The intern updates websites, drafts and posts news content, assists video editing and production, uses multimedia and web-development tools, and analyses web metrics while contributing to the UN flagship website and related Department of Global Communications sites.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research thematic issues and adapt web content from English to Chinese
- Update websites using HTML, SHTML, CSS, WordPress or Drupal
- Draft, format, edit and post website content and news stories
- Edit existing videos or produce short videos
- Analyse web data and metrics and produce reports
Role Requirements
- Graduate student or graduate, or final-year undergraduate student or graduate
- Fluency in English and Chinese
- Computer literacy in standard software applications
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official United Nations language or a local language
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile and humanitarian contexts
