Job Description

UNIDO’s communication and outreach internship supports the Agribusiness and Infrastructure Development Division in Vienna. The intern drafts communication guidance and project templates, prepares outreach materials and presentations, curates project information for media, supports webinars and information sessions, collaborates on evidence-based articles, and submits an end-of-internship report.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop concise communication manuals and guidelines for technical-cooperation projects
  • Draft communication and outreach-plan templates, success stories, case studies and social-media posts
  • Prepare outreach materials and presentations for external communication
  • Collate and curate media-worthy project information with communication focal points
  • Organize webinars and information sessions with organizational units and project teams
  • Collaborate with data teams on evidence-based articles for media publicity

Role Requirements

  • Enrolled in a second-level university degree programme or higher, within one year of completing a second-level university degree, in the final academic year of a first-degree programme, or within one year of completing a first-level university degree
  • Development Communication, Media Studies, Graphic Design or another field relevant to the IET/AGR mandate
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Interns are responsible for living expenses, accommodation, visas and related costs
