Job Description

UNICEF Ukraine seeks a National UN Volunteer to implement, stabilize and hand over its Monitoring System. The role migrates and validates partner data in ActivityInfo, optimizes forms and Excel reporting templates, connects approved UNICEF data sources through dataflows, develops Power BI dashboards, documents procedures and transfers knowledge so UNICEF staff can maintain the system.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Migrate, transform, validate and reconcile partner reporting and reference data in ActivityInfo
  • Configure and optimize ActivityInfo forms, reference tables, validation rules and data-quality checks
  • Stabilize Excel templates with Power Query, validation rules, lookup tables and automated checks
  • Establish dataflows, semantic models, DAX calculations and refresh processes for ActivityInfo and approved UNICEF data sources
  • Develop the core Monitoring System Power BI dashboard and analytical views
  • Maintain documentation and transfer knowledge to UNICEF staff

Role Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant hands-on professional experience in information management, data management, business intelligence, reporting systems or database support
  • Practical proficiency in ActivityInfo or comparable data-management platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI proficiency
  • Ukrainian and English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with UNICEF, the UN system or humanitarian and development programme monitoring
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to non-technical users and support safe programme-data handling
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Full-time National UN Volunteer Specialist assignment
  • Volunteer Living Allowance of USD 1,869 monthly, equivalent in UAH, plus a USD 350 one-time entry lump sum
