ICT Cloud Infrastructure AssistantNew

Provides daily ICT and administrative support to UNDP Brazil's Country Office and Common Back Office. The assistant maintains network, hardware, software and cloud infrastructure, supports users and hybrid meetings, and helps improve digital processes. It safeguards operational continuity through monitoring, troubleshooting, inventory control, backup support and staff training.

• Support ICT management systems, standards and procedures across the Country Office technology environment
• Provide ICT help-desk support and resolve user questions on network access and information-management tools
• Install and upgrade commercial and in-house software and maintain office hardware and software packages
• Monitor network and file-server traffic, usage and performance and troubleshoot network problems
• Support cloud-based backup and restoration procedures for local drives
• Maintain software and hardware inventories, spare-parts stocks, files and ICT reference materials
• Provide ICT and video-conferencing support for key events and hybrid meetings
• Organise ICT training and contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice

• Secondary education
• Four years of relevant experience with high school education, or one year with a Bachelor's degree
• Relevant experience in network administration, web design, hardware and software technical support or cloud ERP environments
• Knowledge of database applications, web-based management systems and cloud infrastructure solutions
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Portuguese

• Experience with user-centred design, user research and testing
• Formal training in IT systems, business software or web-based applications
• Experience with Cisco Meraki management or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Azure management or equivalent
• Experience with robotic process automation
