Job Description
Provides technical support for a global country workshop on the International Classification of Alternative Care of Children, helping UNICEF's data unit prepare, deliver and follow up a country-facing implementation activity. The assignment supports adoption of the new classification in national statistical systems and strengthens comparable data on children in alternative care.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare and support delivery and follow-up of an in-person country workshop on ICare
- Support rollout of the International Classification of Alternative Care of Children in national statistical systems
- Contribute technical input on alternative-care data, indicators and international comparability
- Engage relevant stakeholder groups on care reform, child protection systems and social service workforce issues
Role Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in public health, psychology, social work or a related social science field
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience conducting international research on child protection or children's rights
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with stakeholder groups on care reform, child protection systems and social service workforce strengthening
- Experience planning, delivering and facilitating workshops with multistakeholder groups
Desired Criteria
- Intermediate skills in a second official UN language
