HR Associate

Reviews UNOPS individual-contractor recruitment processes for procedural compliance, advises hiring offices, documents clearance recommendations, monitors pending cases and contributes lessons, data and training that improve HR policy, risk management and consistent global service delivery.

• Review ICA recruitment and selection processes for procedural compliance
• Assess submitted documentation for accuracy, completeness and adherence to rules
• Provide documented recommendations to compliance clearance authorities
• Advise hiring offices on ICA award creation procedures and good practice
• Monitor pending review requests, risks and approaching deadlines
• Research HR issues and contribute data to policy and practice improvements
• Deliver training and share compliance knowledge across practitioner networks

• Secondary education with six years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience
• Relevant experience in an international or national organisation supporting recruitment, HR generalist services or administration
• Proficiency with computers, office software and web-based management systems
• Fluency in English

• Knowledge of UN policies, procedures and practices
• Experience using HR information or enterprise systems
• Fluency in French
• Fluency in Spanish
