Organization Design Specialist

UNOPS seeks an Organization Design Specialist to deliver organization reviews, strategic workforce planning, job evaluation and classification, analytical modelling and change support, partnering with global leaders and HR teams to build future-ready operating models.

Department: People and Culture Group

• Deliver analytical and technical activities across end-to-end organisation-design reviews
• Conduct diagnostics of structures, operating models, governance, workforce data and business processes
• Facilitate workshops and consultations to validate findings and proposed designs
• Develop and implement strategic workforce-planning approaches and annual planning cycles
• Evaluate and classify positions using ICSC standards
• Manage concurrent design assignments and support adoption of approved changes
• Research and share methods for organisation design, workforce planning and job evaluation

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organisational psychology, behavioural science, business administration, management or a related discipline with seven years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with five years
• Certified training in a recognised job-evaluation methodology
• Progressively responsible experience in organisational diagnostics, design, restructuring and transformation
• Fluent English

• The position is home based and must be performed from Africa or Europe
• The contract level is IICA-2 and the appointment is ongoing
