MSF Operational Centre Amsterdam seeks an HQ Accounting Team Lead to make its new global accounting function work in daily practice. Based in Amsterdam, the lead allocates work and develops staff while ensuring accurate, compliant and timely headquarters accounting. The post strengthens controls, audit follow-up, systems and ERP improvements, and dependable bookkeeping, payments, closing and reporting for humanitarian operations.

• Lead daily workload allocation, performance management and development of the HQ Accounting team
• Ensure high-quality headquarters accounting, including bookkeeping, payments, closing and audit preparation
• Strengthen controls and contribute to audit follow-up, ERP changes and process improvements

• Educational background in accounting, finance or a relevant field
• Three to five years of accounting or financial-administration experience
• Fluency in English
