This developer supports CERN’s REANA platform and the European Open Science Cloud Federation by building federated infrastructure for reproducible computational research. The role develops frontend and backend services, operates deployments on Kubernetes, supports scientific data-analysis use cases and works with researchers and European project partners on open-science systems.

• Collaborate with European Open Science Cloud partners to develop cross-node federated analysis workflow infrastructure
• Contribute to the CERN Node of the EOSC Federation for analysis of open particle-physics data
• Deploy, operate and monitor services on the Kubernetes cloud
• Support researchers with cross-node computational data-analysis examples
• Develop and operate the REANA reproducible data-analysis platform

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or an equivalent field
• Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation
• Nationality of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
• No PhD and no previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
• Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French

• Familiarity with computational research-data analysis
• Experience in European Commission co-funded projects
