Foundations, Philanthropies, Family Offices Advisor

UNCDF seeks a home-based advisor to expand engagement with foundations, philanthropies, family offices and private-sector actors. The advisor will shape institutional positioning and partnership models, lead senior engagement, analyse philanthropy and private-capital markets, build opportunity pipelines, design co-financing frameworks, and strengthen resource mobilisation for SDG investment.

• Develop global engagement strategy for foundations, philanthropies, family offices and corporations
• Define UNCDF value propositions and partnership models
• Lead senior stakeholder engagement, negotiations and partnership discussions
• Analyse philanthropy and private-capital trends across priority markets
• Build partner pipelines and design co-financing frameworks
• Develop strategic proposals, impact narratives and knowledge products

• Master's degree in economics, finance, business administration, international development, public policy or a related area, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least ten years of experience in international development, finance, partnerships or related fields
• Experience in development finance within multilateral, bilateral or international institutional settings
• Experience leading resource-mobilisation strategies with measurable financial outcomes
• Fluency in English

• Experience with blended finance, catalytic investment or underserved markets
• Experience mobilising resources with emerging philanthropic markets
• Working knowledge of additional United Nations languages
