Finance Specialist

Leads financial management and controllership for UNFPA’s Supply Chain Management Unit in Copenhagen. The Specialist oversees accounts payable, internal controls, reporting, budget planning and closure; manages audit readiness and a finance team; strengthens supply-chain capacity; and supports partnerships to ensure compliant management of programme-supply resources.

• Oversee SCMU financial operations and resource management
• Provide financial guidance on planning, budgeting and optimisation
• Ensure compliance with UNFPA policies, IPSAS and control frameworks
• Lead budget execution, forecasting and variance analysis
• Oversee ERP transactions, reconciliations and ledger integrity
• Manage audit follow-up, financial closure and team performance

• Advanced degree in accounting, finance, business administration, international commerce or related field
• Professional accounting certification with IPSAS expertise
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible financial-management or accounting experience
