Job Description
IOM is seeking a Type B consultant to complete a Malaysian TIPSOM case compendium on trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants. Over approximately 25 working days, the consultant will conduct legal research, update and analyse case law and landmark judgments, produce a revised compendium, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into the final draft. The assignment supports legal practitioners handling trafficking and migrant-smuggling cases.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review and update the existing TIPSOM case-compendium draft

Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law and a minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience in anti-trafficking and smuggling-of-migrants law
- Prior work experience in migrant-protection thematic areas in Malaysia
- Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with IOM or other UN agencies
