Job Description
PAHO seeks a UN Volunteer to support Bolivia’s Ministry of Health and Sports in developing a national roadmap to accelerate elimination of priority diseases. The role compiles technical and epidemiological evidence, coordinates consultations and work matrices, follows up agreements, and prepares reports and indicators that align the roadmap with national policies and PAHO technical frameworks.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Systematize technical and epidemiological information for the national elimination roadmap
- Update work matrices for diseases, interventions, indicators and implementation timelines
- Support technical meetings, workshops and consultations
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on commitments
- Coordinate information exchange among health-system actors
Role Requirements
- Medicine or health background, preferably public health
- 1 year of general experience
- Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with government processes including climate financing and bilateral cooperation
- Experience in climate policy, climate finance and investment planning
