Job Description
Supports UNICEF Argentina’s foundational-learning portfolio, improving language, reading, writing and mathematics outcomes across compulsory education. The post provides technical, operational and administrative support for programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; develops professional learning for education officers, principals and teachers; and advances inclusive transitions into secondary education.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support foundational-learning programme development and planning
- Manage education programmes, monitor progress and deliver results
- Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation
- Build networks and partnerships for education initiatives
- Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
- Support professional development for education officers, principals and teachers
- Prepare, execute and manage technical and administrative programme tasks
- Support programme evaluation and reporting
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, educational psychology or a relevant technical field
- At least two years of professional experience improving learning outcomes in language and mathematics for pre-primary, primary and secondary education
- Experience in programme planning, management and applied education research
- Knowledge of teaching strategies and curricula for pre-primary, primary and secondary education
- Experience designing or managing professional development for education officers, teachers and school principals
- Fluency in Spanish and English
Desired Criteria
- Experience supporting education-system strengthening
- Experience implementing EdTech solutions for access, teacher development and foundational learning
- Experience in developing-country or highly vulnerable contexts
- Experience with UN-system organisations or public-policy implementation
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
