Job Description
Supports UNCTAD’s Productive Capacities and Sustainable Development Branch on technical assistance for productive-capacity development and blue economy. The full-time intern collects and synthesises information, prepares notes for country and global studies, contributes to project proposals and holistic productive-capacities programmes, and works remotely or in person with training and mentoring.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support technical assistance to strengthen productive capacities
- Collect and synthesise information for country and global studies
- Prepare summary notes for sectoral studies
- Support project proposals for productive-capacities development
Role Requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Full-time availability of five days per week (40 hours)
- Remote applicants need access to Office 365 on a secure computer
- Final-year student or graduate of a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. programme in economics, development, law, political science or an appropriate social science
